These days, in a culture that encourages us all to self-obsess, we don’t have much of a sense of thankfulness. But, apparently, being thankful has been proven to be good for us in many ways (see this article at Time magazine). So perhaps it’s no surprise that being thankful is at the heart of following Jesus. And that’s what we do when we gather to celebrate what he said and did. This Sunday, with simple down-to-earth bread and wine, we’ll be thinking about the Jesus business of rescue, hope and love. Something to be very thankful about! For more info phone 01206 622712.
