anger-sabbath-colchester-vineyard-2Sounds like the name of a metal band, doesn’t it? Last week’s session on the Good and Beautiful Life got us looking at anger, its types and its causes. Some anger is good, a lot of it is bad. Most of the bad anger comes from a sense of aloneness, needing to be in control, worrying about making mistakes, want to be treated fairly and justly, needing to be perfect. Our related soul training – the antidote – involves exploring Sabbath and its true meaning. So we’re trying to make space to rest, to trust, and to get the Jesus perspective on life and its hassles.
