Frinton: a prophetable visit

On Sunday 21 April, a good friend of ours, Paul Green, was the speaker at St Mary’s, Frinton, for one of their Exploring services, and this week it was to explore the spiritual gift of prophecy.

When Paul teaches, he soon gets the listeners to do the practice, so he invited along people from the his Speakers of Life Essex prophecy group (including a bunch from ColVin) to help get things going. And before long, the whole congregation was involved.

We often feel that prayer is about getting God to listen to us and to bless what we’re doing. This was a practical reminder that we’d do better if we spent more time listening to God, and then joining in with what he’s doing.

Many thanks to Don Smith and the peeps at St Mary’s for their kind welcome and hospitality.
